>This is a much belated wedding present. It's a sideboard measuring 49"W x 40"H x 18 1/2"D and made of butternut. The cabinet box is solid wood joined with proud finger joints and has two drawers and opens to reveal an adjustable shelf. The box "floats" inside the legs that are rotated 45 degrees. The top is fastened to the legs with wedged through tenons. the finish is oil and shellac.

Very nice work, Nice site.

your shop look to clean to make that kind of work :)

I like the floating box. did you get that from somewhere?

I like mission/Shaker styles a lot but everyone makes them. I want to expand on them so I have been sketching up some plans that really separate the Supporting frame from the container setions and tops. also I want to use different color wood to attact the eye to this design element.

I look forward to seeing more of your work.
