Faschines were the brush bundles put around Artillery to protect them from fire and they were tradtionaly made with knives like this which is sort of a combination machete and hatchet. Once saw a Faschine knife with a US mark,[probably fake!] priced at $5,000
Same tool but you want to buy them as BillHooks and sell them as Faschine knives.....Todd
