Serious Shellac question

>I am trying to use a very thin cut of shellac slightly more than David Charlesworth's idea of 14g in 200ml I went with 28g which is one ounce to 6.5 oz. After applying 15 coats wiped on I sanded thru the finish in one little tiny spot any thought or start over?

>There should be no need to start over. The edges will all ready be feathered, courtesy of your sanding and subsequent coats of shellac will dissolve right in. I think I would use a 1lb cut for the repair.
