Plane storage idea

>While you guys are at work, I am playing in the shop. Today's project is the final fitting of secretary drawers into carcass. Fit is tight and I have to plane spots on the inside. Good news is that I found a wonderful place to store the planes.

>The figured maple bookmatch panel in the picture is a false front for the HUGE secret compartment. It is the full width & length of the carcass and is about 5" deep. I could store my H&R set in there!

>I am planning to make a panel which will sit over the bin and will be flush with the fall front writing surface. Since the panel could be stacked with papers & stuff, the secret should be safe.
