LA blade angle change

John Vancil in Silverdale, Wa

>I changed the upper angle to 20 degrees and added a 5 degree angle to the bottom of the blade. Still a total of 25 degrees but lowers the over all angle from 37 to 32 degrees. I tried this on both my la block planes. Which are a LV and a #60 Standley with a Hock blade and both will easily cut full lenth shaving on oak and cherry end grain. John
