Plane as Gift - the Verdict

Thanks for all the posts replying to my quest for a plane as a gift. The winner is a Norris Style A6 Smoother kit from Shepherd Tool. Before, I didn't know that planes in kit form existed. My friend is going through a tough time in life and thus needs some time rewinding. A plane kit is the most appropriate.
I'll place the order tomorrow.

>Hoa, I think you made a wise choice. If your friend needs some rewinding time than project such as a Shepherd Plane Kit is just the ticket. Not only will he spend hours with his troubles off of his mind, but he'll end up with a beautiful tool. Ya' done good.
