Vixen (curved tooth) file sharpening... *LINK*

>Hello All,

A few weeks ago Don Clark asked if Vixen curved tooth files could be sharpened (see link below). I thought they could be but hadn't any direct experience. As a test, along with the other files I'd been putting aside for sharpening, I sent one really badly scratched and rusted old 8" Vixen file to them to see how well their "liquid honing" process worked on these very aggressive files, and...

A small package from Boggs Tool Processing arrived yesterday and I couldn't have been more pleased: all of the ~15 files I sent them, including that flat Vixen file came back sharp as a tack! For a "whopping" $2.80 fee, this flea market bargain file that would have been thrown away will be again useful!

As before, I have no affiliation with Boggs, but after yesterday, I'm an even more satisfied customer!
