Weekend projects!

Ernie Miller Topeka

>Were having fun now! I am out of here in an hour or so and the weekend begins! I have to put some trim up in the mother in laws bed room a finish job on the paneling I installed last weekend for mothers day present. I also have to make a bunch of coat racks that hang over the walls at the cube farm here at work. I hope to get to the point I can glue up the island that the wife wants and if all goes well I can make the last few drawers for the bench. I also have to barrow the neighbors truck to haul home wood shop that I bought on break this morning. I may have hit the mother load. I also have to go to a kegger the neighbor girl who shovels the snow and cleans the pool is graduating and we must celibrate! Every One Have A Rockin Good Weekend!!

>It's a long weekend here in the Great White North. This Hoser will see a little shop time, working on a guitar stand for our minister, and the contest. Mostly, I'm looking forward to a little walleye fishing on Saturday afternoon and evening. I'll miss game 7 of the Tampa Bay/Philadelphia series but that's the price ya gotta pay.

Play safe everyone,

P.S. I may get a chance to test drive a couple of ebay saws. A 28" ripsaw that I'm pretty happy with. :)

>Ernie, sounds like a nice driveby gloat on the purchase this morning... you'll have to let us know the details!

Like Steve I will be enjoying a long weekend honouring Queen Victoria.

It will be raining most of the weekend so I plan on getting some shop time. SWMBO insists that I don't work on my preferred projects and make some nice cedar window boxes for flowers. Should be able to do that and have time to spare get a couple of hours in on gluing up some panels.

Have a great weekend!

Brad

PS - Steve, have fun with the Walleye!!!!

>Sounds fun -- I will be building another gate, the mate to the one I built last weekend. And lots of guitar playing. Plus my neighbor who is moving, has promised me some wood he has in his basement, I am going over tonight to look at it.

A kegger!

Scott Burr in Ben Lomond CA

>Boy that's a term I haven't heard in a while. Guess I'm getting older. I'm finishing up a nice dovetailed box for my 45 and another one for my 043. Some shop cleaning is in order too.

>Geez Ernie, whose gonna shovel your snow now? All our paid helpers grew up and moved away.

Naturally,it's springtime so there's lots of things that need doing, but I think I may get shop time in anyhow. I have a birch letter box I'm making for a local raffle. Maybe look at plans for a saw till. I need to organize. Not only is the slope slippery,it's also messy.Have fun everyone.---Crackerjack

>Sat. I need to assemble the remaining 8 drawers for two cabinets that I built last week. Nothing elebrate here, basically 2x4's and plywood. Than I'm gonna focus on getting a few old saw and axes hung up on the shop walls. Right now they are stuck behind the air handler in my shop and I want to get them out of there and if nothing else displayed. Kinda' like functional art. I'd be out there right now getting started but LOML is still sleeping and the garage is right by the master bedroom. :~(

Sunday I'll spend pouring over some complex circuit problems from school. I'm taking AC/DC Theory right now which is 99% math. :~( Next quarter will be Residential Wiring which is all hands on and I am much looking forward to that.

>Ernie is she free on Sunday I'll have the remains of 23 tons of 3/4" stone to shovel.

Tuedays a double header, the Hot Tub (which I've needed since the first day of the move) and the 32' 5th wheel arrive.

Stone is for pads for both and some drainage.
