Appropriate bevel angles for planes

>What would be an appropriate bevel angle for a LV 5.25 Jack plane? I have a spare blade and would also like to solicit recommendations for the angle I should use for the second blade. If I pick up a LA LV smoother what would most people recommend for the bevel angle? Thanks in advance for your replies. I am currently using the LV MKII system to sharpen my chisels and planes and it seems to be working pretty well at least to my inexperienced eye.

I've posted this a few times, but I'll post it again.

My LN62 (LA) is bedded at 12 deg.

I have three irons.

I left one at 25 for end grain etc. (I might even go down to 20 deg at some point.)

The second, I put a 35 deg bevel on.

The third I put a 50 deg bevel on.

So, to recap.

25 deg + 12 bed = 37 deg

35 deg + 12 bed = 47 deg

50 deg + 12 bed = 62 deg

If I were to skip one, it would probably be the 25. If I had to skip another, it would probably be the 50 deg, though for highly figured stuff it's very much better than a total angle of 47 or even 50-52.
