Stanley hinge mortise marking gauges *LINK*

>(mild driveby gloat) In a brief diversion from doing stuff for my parents Friday, I stopped by an estate sale and picked up a clean Stanley 95 butt hinge mortise gauge. I now have both a 94 (scruffy) and a 95 (clean and pretty, japanning all in place). What's the diference in use between them? The Stanley Gage page (link below) just describes them, but doesn't really describe use.
Irony: we're probably about done with the remodels that involve installing doors, unless we move to a new project house (please! no!). Where were these things when I needed them?
