A table with a story

jim_reed@marietta

>Five or six years ago my landscaper buddy brought me some dogwood he had cut from a client's yard. I milled it on the bandsaw and put it up to dry. Pieces were small, but I was able to make four square taper legs. Several years ago I bought an orphan spool chest drawer from the 'bay. Since my buddy has been keeping up my yard during my jobless spell, I decided to make him a gift. What you see is the table frame with walnut skirt, dogwood legs, spool drawer, and SECRET drawer behind regular drawer. Pretty good for a two day project. I am working on the walnut top.

>Pretty table. And very thoughtful of you to make it as a gift.

And I do like that drawer-front.
