Tripod lives in Maine and is going over to meet with Tom next week and discuss the situation and tell him we have about 5 guys, maybe more who are interested in the plane over on Woodcentral. Hes talked to Tom about it before and maybe he can see if he has a prototype in the works like Ted said. Bottom line I will report next week what the story is and what the next step will be.

Evidently he is thinking of a smaller type of mouth adjuster, not the full machined toe like the #62 has.

I personally am licking my chops at the thought of that plane. My 62 just happened to be the plane of choice this week on some bookmatched panels that resisted the efforts of all my planes, but the 62 with a supertight mouth and 40degreee iron. And I thought how having a longer, heavier plane, a 62 on steroids, would have been nice.

And to tempt you further, are you guys aware of the new LV plane coming out soon, their version of the Low angle jack, that is wider, I think Rob is calling it a 62 1/2. Lynn has reported some positive things about that plane.
