>The blade adjuster on my 609 broke the yoke snapped in 2 places. Can I get a replacement somewhere? Can you drive the pin that holds it in out or do you have to drill it? Thanks Jim

>Not sure what you mean by "609", but if the number is a typo and the plane is a regular bench plane, you can drive out the pin that holds the yoke pretty easy if you are careful. I try to use the right size punch, but if I can't find my punch I have done it successfully with a nail and light taps. I remove the frog from the plane, and try to support it in a way that it won't break. I can see if I have the part if you can post or e-mail a picture.

>Jim,

Woodcraft carries replacement parts in their planes section. You have to dig through a couple of levels to the replacement parts, but they probably have what you want. They refer to it as a "Y".

If you can't fix it let me know. I'll take it off your hands and save you the trouble ;-). Good luck.
