6-Board Chest - Last Progress Pics...

>Working at an inordinately slow pace, I've finally crawled within sight of the finish line on this project:
Front and rear feet have been applied (front ones shaped with my nifty new old wooden spokeshave, uh, huh huh huh), all cut nails set and filled. Installed hinges last night. Very glad I sprung for the hefty ones from Horton Brasses. I have some poplar that will get milled into shiplapped backboards today, and I'll be making a lumber run for drawer materials this weekend. Might actually finish this by Mother's Day, my new target date. Now I need to decide if this will look good in the barn red milk paint I've been planning on using...
Thanks for all the input on this, everyone. Be glad when it's done. For many reasons.
