>Hi all-

I managed to get something out of the shop recently. I built a copy of the music stand that Roy Underhill describes in his "Woodwright's Apprentice." His was English walnut, mine is mahogany. It was fun to build, and was my first attempt at sliding dovetails. Note the lack of close up pictures of the underside of the column....

Paul, I need to confab with you about turning tools sometime. The last time I was over at the store, you weren't working and the guy who "helped" wasn't so very... helpful.
