Another Shot of Handle/Socket of LN

>Another issue raised was the lack of space between handle and socket - LN must have anticipated the issue and carefully radiused the handle. In appearance, the socket to handle join looks almost like a Japanese chisel.

As I have been enable to extract the handle from the socket, I can't comment on this further.

See the attached shot of the 3/4", and yes, I know it looks retouched, but the machining is just that good.

Still Deciding...

>Too soon to tell - just put an edge on them tonight, and aside from appearance, just did a little paring on cherry to ensure that the first honing was going to give a usable edge.

Took about two-three minutes each to polish the back using 600 diamond stone and SS, so the blades were very flat. Very hard - probably close to a laminated chisel, but took a good edge off 2000 grit paper.

Once I have a chance to chop a few sets of dovetails in something reasonably hard, I'll fess up as to whether these Lie-Gucci chisels were worth it.
