Gouge sharpening?

Ernie Miller Topeka

>So I have this lust for all tools sharp. I have a couple 1/2" out cannel gouges that are alike but I only need 1 so I was thinking that I would grind one of them incannel is there any reason that I shouldn't do this? I'm not a collector so I don't like keeping duplicate tools laying around for the wife to find.

>Don't see why not,in fact i have couple late model buck's i have thought about doing that to them. It is a fact you can remove wood in a hurry with a incannel gouge.
