Stanley 478 Mitre Box...

>I just came into posession of an old Stanley MB stamped 478 on the bottom, 4 patents-all '04. Has a Disston 30x6 backsaw. I've seen the 358, 360, 246, and 150's before but never a 478. Does anyone have any info on this box or a link where I could look it up. Thanks as always.

>You may already know that Stan Faullin's an authority and resource on the Stanley mitre boxes and has .pdf manuals for the 358, et al, on his website. Although I don't see the #478 mentioned, he might be able to help you. He also makes replacement parts, so now my #358's complete again.
