Shop tool box *LINK*

>I have been fighting the "too small" tool box problem for several years now. I started to do someting about it. Hand tool storage seems to be a constant problem in my small shop. In fact; I had to install the new tool box semi-complete because I ran out of room to work on it.

The following link goes to a web page with just info on the shop tool box for those interested. The picture below shows the old (small) and new wall tool boxes during the swap.

>Very nice looking work, Alan. Like Scott said, the bench is beautiful too. Your plane shelf could almost pass for a LV advertisement!

Say, what kind of wood is the handle of your Independence dovetail saw? Looks odd.

>Thanks to you and Scott for the nice comments. My plane shelf only has 4 LV planes, minority of what is shown there (and I like all of them).

The saw handle appears to be curly maple as LN advertises.

>Alan, Looks great! Plenty of space in there. I understand why a bigger cabinet was needed as I always seem to be moving tools around to make space to work!

>Thanks; and you are right. I have a list and the finish of the tool box just slipped a little. At least I can pile most of my hand tools in one place though.
