>The working properties are excellent. Great for railings and stair parts, usually paint grade. Works like poplar looks like alder. I have used it for furniture parts that I am covering with a heavy-body stain or paint. I also used it as a substraight for veneer. Made handrails and finished them in clear and they looked good too. So my recomendation is to buy it and use it.
