>A lot of the woodturning folks have used them, including me. They've been a very reputable outfit that has done whatever it takes to resolve the few problems that inevitably crop up over many sales. I've found Bob Gadd to be particularly knowledgeable in the woodturning area, but that others were pretty uninformed. Not a criticism, but rather I suspect that only a person or two is really familiar with the hand tools as well. Thus, if you are looking for interaction with staff, it is worth asking for the person on their staff most knowledgable in that area. Obviously, not a bad practice with any outfit, but likely more important with KMS which carries such a wide range of tools, many of which aren't but faintly associated with woodworking.

>KMS tools is a 5 minute drive from my home. Can't say I have boght much there as they are mainly a power tool store (I'd say 95% power, 5% hand tools). They seem to have 2 or 3 guys per department and usually are quite helpful.

Not really a neander friendly store, drive by it all the time on my way to Lee Valley three blocks away.
