>Does any one know any thing about this company? I picked up some palm chisels made by them and was wondering about them. They have a strange crank to the blade. I'm thinking they might be for lenolum or somthing other than wood. any dates? Thanks ernie

Lyons, manufactures engraving tools for the printmaking arts; burins, liners, roulettes, rockers, and so on. Although most call is for HSS tools these days, which they make, they still offer a line (albeit diminishing) of carbon steel gravers of which I am quite fond, as I can anneal them for setting softer stones such as opal and tanzanite, which is why I keep my eyes open for vintage pieces.
