>What's the fastest and easiest way to remove laquer from a set of chisels and a few handplanes. Sandpaper? Laquer Thinner with some sort of abrasive?

>Mike, I've always left it on. The part that needs removing is removed when you hone the backs and bevels. Consider the rest rust protection.
