Traveling Writing Desk Plans

>I'm looking for plans to build a portable/traveling writing desk of the type pictured in the attached picture. I am aware of the FWW #144 Jefferson's Writing Desk article in 2000; however, it's a different style than I'd like to make. I've spent a good while looking online but haven't come up with anything.

I think that style was primarily made in England. A search of published plans from the UK might be productive.

If you can't find the book, let me know & I'll attempt to post a photo of the box. It appears to me that it would make an excellent travel desk.

What may help you in your search is the English name; "writing slope".

After spending a good deal of time looking at lap deaks, writing boxes, writing slopes on the web, as well as going to Ebay and searching under "writing slope" (there are many!), I began to take note of the various types of hinges, catches, etc. I noticed there are particular configurations of hinges that seem to be used on many of these boxes. Similarly, the types of catches fall into 2-3 categories. Armed with this information, my next search task will be hinges, catches, and fittings. In addition to sites I've found online, there are also some major companies listed in FWW that sell these sorts of things. I'm beginning to compile a list of sites, as I add to it I'll be pleased to share it with you.
