tapping wood threads article?

Clay C in Miami

>I know I remember seeing an article somewhere about tapping hardwood to accept machine bolts directly. I found this reference on another board -

"there is a short article in the Lee Valley web site (www.leevalley.com), probably written by Leonard Lee. See Articles->hardware-> Using Machine Screws in Wood."

But, I didn't find it there ... (though I did find so much other useful stuff that I happily browsed the LV articles for a coupla hours)

Anyone know where this article might be?

Clay

>Sounds like a good idea - but, no one else remembers this article? Maybe those flashbacks they promised me in the 70s are finally here ...
