>Well, I had promised it by the first of the year, and then I promised it by the end of January. Since I've failed miserably with those projections, I'm not going to make another one. I will say that I have started writing it and shall have some time to continue with the writing over this next month.

When I didn't have it done by the end of January, I had to put it on hold as I had an obligation to present at a professional conference this last week, and since it was on something I didn't have a ready made Powerpoint on, it took some time to get together. That's now out of the way, there will be more time to put into getting this finished. So it will be sooner than later, but remains a little ways out yet. I do feel badly about the delay.

2. NEVER promise anything by a deadline that can be measured. Saying "I'll have it done by January 30" is fine as long as you don't specify a year.

I'd like to say that I appeciate all the effort you have put in to previous reviews, and look forward to anything else you may produce.

I would point out that you don't OWE us grateful readers anything; if anything, the debt is in the other direction.

So ease up on any guilty feelings ya' got, and relax.

I have found the reviews you have made public here and on other forums to be *VERY* valuable. I have learned a great deal from the in-depth analysis you give to each review or study. I really appreciate that you take the time to look at many aspects of a tool's use and show how one has advantages in some situations over another tool, but in other situations the preference may be reversed. You don't just lay down a "set of facts", but force the reader to gain a greater understanding of the tool.

I look forward to your next plane study, but wait patiently, knowing it will be worth the wait.
