>what is this plane? it is marked Ohio tool 119. it looks like a bodger with a tote. the blade is 1 1/2" wide and it has two nickers. is this a giant dado plane or some sort of pannel raiser? This is probably the only bargan I got today although I did get a pile of chisels for a good price.

>That is more or less it the handle is mounted on the side of the body with two screws. How would it work with a 2" blade when the nickers are only 1 1/2" apart? THis plane would be great for some one making rustic furnature out of that modern 2X stock that is only 1 1/2" wide. I can see this thing nocking out a dado in no time flat.
