>Got a badly rusted brace from a friend of mine that he is using as a decoration[sic] that I offered to make functional again. I fiqure that if you're going to use a tool as a decoration(egads I hate to even say that) it might as well be functional. At any rate, the ring in the ratcheting mechinism is so badly rusted that it has actually swelled into the ratcheting head and I cannot for the life of me break it free. My next step is to drive out the two little pins that holds the entire chuck head on and take it from there. Has anybody ever done this before and could tell me of potential pitfalls I might encounter?

Fortunaly my buddy is of the mindset that if I can't make it work it's no big deal as it is only a decoration. Using a 4" swing brace as a decoration should be outlawed in my book.

>Not quite spot on Justin, but informative none-the-less. I have two of those 2101's and really love them. One of them is also a Ma Bell. If I find one that has a stuck chuck I'll now know that there is hope of fixing it. Thanks.
