>A bit ago, posted a message about the Lee Valley Scraper plane I had just received. I was very, very impressed with its performance, but a bit disappointed in the wood. (The knob and tote didn't seem to match at all.) Rob Lee told me to contact customer support and that they would send a replacement knob and tote. Well, the replacements arrived last night and they are perfect. It's now one beautiful plane! Excellent products and customer service are the reasons that the LV catalog is at the top of the heap when I go to place an order.
