>Does anyone know anything about these Japanese chisels being sold on amazon. It looks like they are imported through grizzly. I am in the market for a new set of chisels and have heard alot of good things about japanese chisels. Any insight on these or other high quality chisels would help me with my purchase.

>There are several things to look for when buying Japanese chisels: evenly applied hard steel wrapping the soft iron; whether the shank and body are properly aligned; whether the vendor stands behind them (can you return one if it's not up to snuff); whether a sharp cutting edge can be reached; and does the edge hold long enough.
