Source for pewter hardware?

>Can anyone suggest a source for solid pewter hardware? I'm designing a desk for a customer who likes pewter and wants cast pewter pulls, not just a "pewter finish" on brass.
So far I've struck out. I'm even considering learning how to do sand castings so I'd be able to get just what I'm after.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

>Pewter is VERY soft about the same as lead and don't see how it would make very good hardware.Maybe you could make Knobs and get away with it but they sure wouldn't hold up.Hinges? forget it. Don't think i have ever seen real pewter hard ware and this is probably why.....Todd
