Woo Hoo!!!! - OT

Rob from Kansas

>I just got off the phone for an interview for what sounds like a great corporate position! In Loveland/Fort Collins Colorado area no less! At last some hope of things picking up since 9-11!

From what he told me this company makes safety a top priority and the boss doesnt threaten the crew to take trips when the conditions arent quite the best. He also said the trip schedule is pretty set for about a month in advance. It can be feast or famine with some months having a couple trips per week, but other months a couple trips per month. Im thinking woodworking time! Anybody in that area?

Im so psyched! Not only promising potential on a job, a quality job!!

I probably won't sleep tonight. I'm more excited than Christmas!

>Yep I'd have to change my screen name I guess. I still need to find out how outrageous the houses are in Loveland or Fort Collins. I've been told Dever was one of the worst outside of places like Aspen/Vail/Estes Park but she couldn't say about further north.

>Only kidding. This is for a corporate pilot position. There are many more bad jobs than good jobs out there so that's why I'm excited. To find someone who treats pilots with respect and not just a commodity seams to be a rarity these days.

>I'd hate to see you go but I hope you get the job. That big old Crescent bandsaw will be awfully hard to move so you can leave it at my place.

>Even if I move to Colorado I don't think I could get away without having to do things for mom & dad. So I think your safe. Training wouldn't be for about six weeks even if I get the job.

As for the band saw...I want to make at least one cut on it before you guys try to take it!!!

>I don't know about lumber, but if I get this I am planning on taking some small pieces for carving or veneer for marquetery while I'm waiting on day trips.

He did mention trips to Cabo San Lucas, Cozumel & Cancun. Sounds good this time of year!
