>I went to www.the-dma.org to try to get signed up on the Do Not Call List and apparently I have to pay for this service. Doesthis sound right? Am I going to the right site?

For those who've already signed up for this has it been effective?

>I looked at their website. In the section giving information about the Do-Not-Call list, they don't even have a direct link to it (Brent posted the correct site). Instead there is a sign up for their own list...which has a fee for online registration.

It is just stunning to think that a telemarketing organization would be offering misleading information, gathering personal data and bilking some poor saps out of cash to boot. Oh, wait...

It seems to work!
