Birthday Presents / small gloat

I am certain I have managed to slide down the slope many of you speak about. For my birthday, my wife went with me to the local Woodcraft (no affiliation) and handed me a Bday card. Inside she had a breakdown of the money I had saved as well as gift money, etc that I could use for anything. Wow! We spent a couple hours in the store that day. They did not have all of the tools in stock so I placed the order and picked them up yesterday.
I got a LN#7, a LN 60 1/2, and the Boggs spokeshave. I can hardly wait to get some time this weekend to create some more shavings. I have been using a Record adjustable mouth block plane that was my first hand plane purchase...the LN is quite impressive in comparison.
I suppose I better get some projects completed in my small shop or else "making furniture to save money" will be a perpetual joke. :)
