Joe Rogers, Northern Virginia

>Dave an off forum email I sent to you bounced. Could you ping me so I can update my address book?

Also we have 4 confirmed for the meet Saturday the 17th so far.

Any others interested may be included if they desire. Don't be shy, this is a great way to meet other Islanders.JR

>Joe,

You had me scared for a minute there. You need to say "Nawth", not "No." I was afraid you had to cancel it. I will try my dardest to be there.

>JUst be careful with that car of yours -- doesn't it like to pretend it's a Trabant or something and break a lot?

>The breakfast is in Springfield, one exit south of the "Mixing Bowl", which is the intersection of I-95 with the southern side of the DC Beltway (I-495) and I-395.

>From West Jersey, on a Saturday morning, if I'm lucky, I can get there in not much more than three hours. On a Friday evening, however, there's a good chance you can't even get there from here.

>Well Noah, it all depends on how much you're willing to drive. ;-) One winter nite a coupla years ago I drove over 2 hours to have dinner with Susan and Raymond Wendrzycki while they were on vacation up in the White Mountains of NH. Amazing the distances woodworkers will travel to get together with each other.

>Well that is about how far it would be for me. 2hrs. 18min according to Mapquest, if I picked the right Springfield (Fairfax). Might be doable but not sure, especially for breakfast. :)

Count me in

Dave (Arlington, VA)

>Hi Joe -

Wouldn't missed it. Looking forward to seeing Mr. Anderson again, and any of the wonderful works of art...er, shopmade tools he might bring along. I'd sent you an email a couple days ago to let you know I was planning on being there, but it must not have gone through. Also got your voice mail. Will try to give you a buzz if tomorrow's schedule permits.

Regards -

Dave

Joe Rogers, Northern Virginia

>Glad you got the information in time to schedule the morning. Ummm... senior moment here, but I think the count is up to 7 or 8.

9:00a.m. is the start time but I plan to arrive at 8:15 or 8:30 to make sure someone is there to greet the out of towners and get a table reserved.

Regards,

Joe
