Moving my shop: Need Help (NYC)

Kim Carleton Graves-Carleton Woodworking

>Hi Gang,

Im moving my shop on Saturday, January 31. (I might be able to do it the weekend before if I can get everything done.)

The last time I moved my shop a couple of years ago, I put out a call on the Pond for people to give me a hand. And several actually did! It was really nice. We had a good time.

So heres the gig. Its much easier this time. Im just moving upstairs from my current shop so we dont even need to rent a truck. There is a big freight elevator no stairs. Its just putting things on dollies and wheeling them around. Ill try to get all the packing done beforehand, but there may be some of that cant promise. Ill buy lunch and beers afterward. Youll get a chance to see two great professional shops. And Im sure Ill have some scrap to give away and tools to sell cheap.

So if youre in (or want to visit) the NYC area and are interested, give me a shout so I know whos coming. One would be great, three would make it fun, and five would mean we could go out for lunch!

Thanks a lot,

Kim
