You can get an answer, but a couple of things will be needed. First, the question needs to be narrowed. Do you want to talk about saws, planes, chisels, marking and layout tools? Second, could you tell us a little about yourself--it really helps to have a feel for someone's level of experience and what they're trying to accomplish to provide a sensible answer.
