Glub - Permission to come aboard!
First let me say - "Thanks Ellis" for providing a new (dry) place now that the Pond is draining, for Neander types. I was a frequent (4-6 times daily) lurker at the Pond, and will very much miss it. Much Thanks to Wayne for providing a place for years of entertainment and education.
Now I have a question. I purchased a user #18 Round plane (ebay) that was covered with smokey smelling grime. Not what I would call "patina"! I scrubbed it with a purple scotch brite to remove the grime, and now I want to make it look a little more like when it was new. Suggestions? Linseed oil and Deft?
Thanks,
Terry
