Method for shaping chair parts
I cut the legs for a set of chairs on a BS, but wanted to smooth the millmarks off by hand. I have thus far used a spokeshave and scrapers with pretty good results. The legs are smooth, but not all the curves are fair. Now I have to do the back stretchers. Are there any good tools for this other than a compass plane?
