Bruce, a MN Galoot
The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum has a wonderful collection of Nakashima furniture, designed and built for the library there. Every year it is cleaned by volunteers. Here’s a nice article on the event:

I’ve been there a couple of times. The first time I couldn’t believe that they actually let people use it, but it’s all functional furniture.

When I was in landscape school we’d go to the MN Arb for plant ID classes. When class was over I’d always spend a couple of hours in the library. At the time, ‘74-‘76, I had no clue who GN was. I did know the work was beautiful and the chairs comfy
