Very nice, Johanna. The cabinets have a Krenov flavor. Couple questions...

Are the sides joined to the top and bottom with dowels?

It appears that the doors are each made of two boards. I'm wondering if you beveled the edges where they are joined and then hand planed the curved surfaces? And, it's hard to see the curvature on the insides. Did you use some kind of hollowing plane to shape the inside curves?

Thanks for the tip on Firefox. I'm pretty sure I have posted pics here from Firefox in the past. Have you figured out why it wasn't working for you?

Yes, the top and bottom are joined to the sides with dowels. The doors are made of 4 staves with 91.5 degree edges to produce the curve. The insides were, indeed smoothed with a plane that had a convex sole.

Because the doors sat on a table for so long, they became slightly twisted. That seriously impacted making the cabinet for them! They were made an inch over final width so I could plane the edges until they met correctly.

This cabinet was, by far, the most difficult thing I have ever made!

Regarding posting pictures, I do think I have used Firefox to post pictures before. Now, however, many of the necessary items simply do not appear in Firefox. Not to worry - I have Chrome and Edge in addition to Firefox, so I can always just change browsers as needed.
