I am thinking about ordering the sprayer and hose pictured below to use in my dog grooming operation.

The problem with this hose is that it is only 60" long. I need double that. This hose/sprayer is designed to be used in stainless steel dog tubs. My set up is a little different and the faucet is a little further away from the tub.

The faucet is a utility tub faucet. Currently I attach a regular garden hose to is with a regular garden hose sprayer.

So I need to put an extension between my faucet and the pictured hose/sprayer hopefully with the same type of hose.

Anybody knowledgeable in plumbing parts know what I should search for?

Are you really dedicated to that particular setup? There are other highly-rated units out there with much longer hoses. For example, you might look up this Waterpik PPR-252 Pet Wand Pro

It is not cheap but, as I wrote I've seen glowing reviews and it comes with an 8.5-foot hose.

The female end should be 1/2 pipe thread. Any plumbing or hardware can fix up with a 1/2 inch SS supply hose, may need a male 1/2 inch connector since most supply hoses are female on each end.

You should search for washer supply hose and a male/male adapter.

I have the adapter in my shower (for washing dogs) to connect two shower hoses end-to-end, but it no longer has the HD label attached. What I did was pick up a shower hose off the rack and match it with a male to male threaded connector with the same threads on both ends. One of the HDs I frequent has a wizard who can find fittings for me almost instantaneously. If he's not working, or I'm in another HD, my strategy usually takes a little hunting, but I'm usually successful, unless they are out of stock or their dumber customers have totally scrambled the plumbing parts shelves.
