Shaker chairs

A number of years ago, maybe 10, I bought a book by Kerry Pierce titled Authentic Shaker Furniture because I wanted to make a chair. I turned all the posts and rungs from left over cherry. The pieces have been sitting since. I didn't have a way of generating steam. Now I do thanks to Earlex.

I've been re-reading the book and can't figure out the jigs he made to assist in drilling the holes in the posts.

I've done a little Googling and haven't found anything yet, but does anybody know of a quality/professionally made video for making Shaker chairs, or maybe a better book.

I am not familiar with any videos, but I would recommend a copy of Drew Langsner's The Chairmakers Workshop. I used it as a textbook when I was teaching Windsor chairs. It not only covers Windsor chairs it covers post and rung chairs as well as others. It is very well written, just like the classes he taught at Country Workshops.
