Spraying White PreCat

First time spraying a "color" always sprayed clear. We use Fuji 4 stage hvlp and I decided to buy a new t70 gun just for this job. Normally I set the gun to a wide spray pattern but I've seen some guys using a narrower pattern to get better color build. Any issues with "lapmarks" as long as I have the gun set right?? THanks
