I posted this thread earlier when my planer got damaged. I got good advice on what to replace it with. I bought a Dewalt 735 and I love it. Set it up today. I hooked the outlet with 4" hose to my grizzly 2hp dust collector. I have a 55 gal barrel between the machine and the collector. It works flawlessly. There were several issues with the delta that I learned to live with but the new machine doesn't have these problems. The outlet on the delta was so narrow it had a tendency to clog,even with the 2hp dust collector. This one has a blower to eject the shavings and together with the dust collector nothing gets left behind. It is also much quieter and easier to adjust. I hope this new machine gives me lots of use.

A tip on changing blades.

IIRC, there are eight cap screws that hold the blade assembly in place, and removing them with a regular Allen wrench is long and tedious. I got the appropriate size hex adapter for my reversible drill and take them out with the drill. Saves much time. I also drive the screws most of the way home with the drill, too, but final tightening is done by hand.

To save even more time, there is a Byrd Shelix helical head available for that planer. ;)

That's a very capable planer. I think you will be impressed with the decreased snipe, compared to other reasonably priced planers.

The only major issue I've heard reported with it is with a plastic part of the chip ejection system, on which the chips impinge on their way to the exhaust. After a significant amount of use (probably thousands of board feet), this part can erode, adversely affecting the chip ejection. It is an easily replaceable part, but it is not easy to see when diagnosing dereased chip collection problems.
