OT- SD Card challenge!

On my tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab A, I cannot seem to transfer files or photos from the Internal Storage to the SD Card. I keep getting a message saying I need permission. But I can't get past it.

Any techies that could help me out?

I had been attempting to do it through File Manager but gave My Files a try. It seems a bit convoluted but it worked.

Glad you found an answer.

File management drives me nuts on phones and tablets. I'm used to putting things on my desktop machine where I want them and this just isn't easy on those devices. I've been told not to fight it and just let it do its thing.
