Your Big Easy should have a regulator on it. Use it--it's adjusted for a certain pressure of propane gas.

Personally, I wouldn't be switching things around that are connected to a large propane tank. Too much opportunity to lose a lot of expensive propane quickly. With a small tank, your loss is limited.

They will know the answer and perhaps be able to get you set up for Christmas if not Thanksgiving.

In general, I would expect all propane appliances to use the same pressure, and yes, there is a regulator at the large tank. However, propane is a pretty dangerous fuel due to being heavier than air, so leaks are a big deal. Consult the pros and you should be able to get the frier set up as you want pretty easily.

Are you sure you want it connected to your big tank?

Once or twice I have gone to use the grill and found it was left on and the tank was empty. It is irritating to change the tank but not a big deal. Different story if I come home to fi the stove and water heater out because the neighbor kids thinking it a funny prank to turn on the grill.

I rarely move the grill but it is nice that it is not tied down.

There are only two things

on the house tank. A fireplace inside the house and a grill. The grill has a quick disconnect on it along with a shutoff.

Thanks for the reply's I decided to cook it in the oven this year until I can get the correct kit to connect it to the quick disconnect.
