It is a pair of Festool machines and system for doing loose tenon joinery. The machines cut the mortises in both pieces. Festool also supplies loose tenons in several sizes and in beech and African mahogany, that are glued into the mortises. Further, Festool manufactures metal knock down joinery tenons that can be actuated by the end user or assembler and later released, so the joinery can be disassembled.
