POWER CAP ACTIVE POWERED RESPIRATOR JSP PROFESSIONAL I have a full beard and I love this unit. It is lite weight and comfortable to wear. Blows cool air across your face and does not fog up my glasses. Highly recommended.

I was working a show for Arbortech and was carving a piece of salted walnut that was making me sick. Coughing and sneezing. The Power Cap booth was right next to us and the salesman saw my struggle. He brought a unit over for me to try. 10 minutes later he came back to check on me and without saying a word I just handed him my credit card and said “I will take it!”

Expensive but it works so well and so comfortable I wear it regularly!

I have the JSP power. I have a beard and it is comfortable. Even in the summer heat you can wear it for extended periods of time because it is blowing fresh air on your face. I bought the JSP over the Trend as at the time Trend only offered Ni Cd batteries. the JSP has lithium batteries and I have had better success with them.

I use this one, 3M 6900

It seems to seal well. I use it mostly with cartridges for volatiles when I'm spraying at the farm. I don't use it much in the shop.
