Varnish question

I have some 5 year Old Master's oil base varnish. I transferred it to a mason jar but I notice it is a bit "globy".
Thoughts?

I never trust an old finish. I put in way too much effort on building something, to make it a mess compared to spending $20 on new fresh finish.

Ditto. With varnishes, though, if you are wiping it on and then wiping off the excess, it might be fine.
